Engineered for
your conditions.

Vadersoft engineers local AI systems for devices, private networks, and environments where connectivity cannot be assumed. We assess the workload, data sensitivity, memory, compute, and power available before choosing a model and runtime. Local inference, secure provisioning, controlled connectivity, and recovery behaviour are designed together. We evaluate accuracy and performance on representative hardware, then define how the system is updated, monitored, and supported through its operating life.

  1. Fit the model to the device.

Start with the task, then evaluate model quality, memory use, response time, and power on the hardware that will do the work.

  2. Keep essential workflows local.

Package the required models, tools, and data so the agreed workflow stays useful when the internet is unavailable.

  3. Control the boundary.

Define permissions, local data protection, approved network access, and the human decisions that remain outside an autonomous workflow.

  4. Plan the operating life.

Design provisioning, signed updates, health checks, recovery, and optional synchronisation alongside the first working version.

Keep essential
work within reach.

For field operations, private environments, and connected devices, resilience starts with deciding what must keep working locally.

Without internet

The configured model uses approved local data and tools. Essential functions remain within the device or private network.

When a connection is available

Approved updates, selected remote services, or controlled data synchronisation can extend the system. These dependencies are explicit, with a defined response to disconnection.

Every connection has a purpose, a permission boundary, and an owner.

KalonKalon

A perspective from our ecosystem.

Kalon demonstrates AI running on local devices, with optional remote providers and explicit network controls. It is a useful product reference for the principles we bring to an edge project: local capability, deliberate connectivity, and hardware-aware model selection.

Before we build.

Can an edge AI system work without internet?

Yes, when the required models, data, and tools are available locally. We identify the workflows that must remain usable offline and test them without connectivity. Initial provisioning, security updates, or optional remote services may still need a controlled connection or an approved offline update process.

What hardware does edge intelligence need?

The workload determines the hardware. We evaluate memory, compute, storage, power, and response-time requirements using representative devices. A smaller model that performs reliably on the target hardware can be more useful than a larger model the device cannot sustain.

Does local AI replace cybersecurity controls?

No. Local operation changes the exposure but still needs access controls, data protection, trusted updates, auditability, and recovery planning. We design those controls around the device, its users, and the actions the system can take.

Can local systems connect to existing enterprise platforms?

We design local APIs, private-network connections, and controlled synchronisation where the use case requires them. The essential local workflow and its behaviour during a disconnection are specified separately from optional remote services.
