Technology with cultural context.
Our collaborations include an AI system performing live on stage with an artist, alongside work on an offline musical engine for African contexts. We bring cultural understanding into the engineering of creative tools.
How we approach music, culture & creative intelligence.
Explore the engineering expertiseOur work includes a collaboration in which an AI system performed live on stage with an artist, alongside an offline musical engine for African contexts. Creative intent and the conditions of performance shape the engineering.
What shapes the work.
Cultural understanding
Bring the musical and cultural context into the design of the tool.
Live interaction
Build around the artist, the interaction, and the constraints of performance.
Offline capability
Consider local computation and continuity when a network connection cannot be assumed.
